The show has been excellent. Yesterday saw steady traffic with a lot of really good conversations, reconnecting with people from the design community and making new connections as well. Today has also started strong with more excellent discussions, and we will definitely be back next year.
Since this morning, we’ve been in and out with clients—lots of questions, strong interest, and constant “wow” reactions, which is very reassuring. I’ve attended trade shows across the U.S., the Middle East, and Canada, and I’ve been amazed here. Great management, everything was on point, and the partners were clear and informative. We had no hassle at all, and it’s definitely a show we’ll be attending year after year because it’s truly one of the greatest.
It was eye-opening. It felt like a shift towards more responsible, environmentally friendly, and smarter lighting design. There was more focus on the users and their needs. Being here in this capacity showed me that there are lots of opportunities that we just need to explore, and this event gives us that opportunity. We are very thankful for that.
We’re really proud to be here and really proud to introduce this at the show today. It’s been really great. We’ve met a lot of specifiers, and different agents here have been really great. They brought a lot of people and a lot of customers. It was our first year for sure, and we’re definitely going to come back. I think it’s been a great experience for us.
We’re here at this show with four of our vendors. The A&D community and the construction community is here, so we want to be here. We want to be supporting the brands, educating that market, and getting the name out, getting these brands’ names out in the minds and hearts of all the people at the show.
Really positive. We were hoping it was going to be a great show, and it’s delivered. Support and education, that’s what this show is about for us.
We’re really happy to partner with Canada Light Expo this year, and I hope that’s a relationship that will continue. Personally, I’ve been really excited to see the development of this show and to see the quality of the seminars and the exhibits that have shown up in this year’s sessions. For the IES, it’s super important to be at a show that caters to lighting professionals.
As a returning client to Canada Light Expo, we did exhibit last year and we’re exhibiting this year. The exposure, at least from what I’ve seen in terms of vendors as well as people that are walking, is strong. What I like about this show is that it hits the target. While other trade shows just vaguely welcome many people in and you don’t get much traction, with this one every particular request seems to hit the target market. That’s why we like it and that’s why we totally recommend it for other vendors to participate in. I certainly cannot wait until next year to participate again. Unique, that’s all I could say.
This year’s experience has been even better than from last year. Today the show was very well attended, and it was attended by the people that essentially are necessary to be coming to shows like this, engineers, lighting specifiers, lighting professionals, which is very important for these types of shows for us.
The process has been amazing. This partnership has been very, very collaborative. We’ve been working together to make this booth come to fruition and make sure that we showcase our product at the Canada Light Expo. The Canada Light Expo has been amazing, being able to connect with different architects, designers, and different lighting engineers. It’s been awesome to have a network of so many great people and like-minded people and being able to connect with them is the main goal.
Today at this show this week, we wanted to highlight in our indoor portfolio part of the light control brand, a product that we call. Era. ERA is the product that we see here. It’s a linear product. It’s a contemporary looking plank. Open in the middle, 75% down, 25% up. Beautiful design, beautiful finish all the electronics are inside the Lumin Air. Mix it for a very practical installation, beautiful distribution. A lot of options for finishes. It does a great job from an architectural standpoint and effectiveness of lighting.
